Report to add a Date function

Good Day Guys,

i have a question regarding Webbased reports and adding a Date filed "todo"

So the report i have created is a list of Nodes and there current versions, these version will be upgraded through out the year so i wanted to know does any one have experience in putting dates into webbased reports?

ideally it would be nice if my users can add these dates them selves for work they need to do.
