I am looking to set up a small test environment, for the purpose of evaluating SAM for my company. I've used SAM before, but haven't implemented it from scratch. If we decided to move the product into our production environment, we want to keep the small test environment live for testing and evaluating Beta products. Does anyone have any recommendations on setting this up for an approx 20 node, 200 component monitor environment? Any troubles you've had with only monitoring a subsection of your network vs the whole? Thoughts? Tips? Tricks? I want to hear them all.
