I have created a custom page to display a segment of VM Servers that are integral in a large software implementation. I have used the VMWare view type and I can't find a way to display the information I need. Idealy I would like to filter the "Virtualization Assets" widget to show only the VMware hosts that relate to a selection of Guests. But clearly that was not the intention of that widget, is there an alternative? When I use the "ALL Nodes" widget, it doesn't give me the option to group by host. I attempted to use the report builder, none of the built in templates can display it either. Creating a query in Solarwinds is nearly impossible due to the lack of a documented and a truly viable functional query builder. Am I stuck? can anyone help me out?
