I'm struggling to get monitoring of a SQL Server failover cluster functioning as per the instructions here.
I am using agent-based monitoring in SAM due to the dispersed nature of the servers being monitored (multiple customer sites/networks). I can monitor each of the cluster nodes with the failover cluster application templates without issue but I need assistance with adding the node for the virtual IP for the SQL Resource in the cluster so I may manually assign the AppInsight for SQL template to the virtual IP.
Any assistance is appreciated!
