I had few licenses to APM and even application monitoring doesn't belong to me I've used those licenses to monitor Orion server itself. (server people are for that, and they use other products for monitoring)
There is 4 applications monitored: IIS, Orion server, SQL server 2005 database and SQL server query. I've always wondered why SQL server response time looks always so bad. In "Top 10 components by response time" list Page writes, lock wait, logins/sec, buffer manager... they all are constantly about 10000ms! Server works fine and it's fast enough, but when looking to values, it doen't look like it! Gauge is always in red. So nothing wrong with Orion Server itself, but APM acts funny... 10 seconds response time just can't be true. Or could it be? If so, what I should do about it?
