We have a node here running Windows XP SP3 that we have on Orion server monitoring.
Sometimes, Orion will continuously report that the server is down and then a minute later that the status has been reset.
We will get both messages several times over the course of a few days. There maybe as many as 8 or 9 message pairs in a given day.
At no time during this period is the server actually down in any way.
The possible issue is that this could mask when an actual issue does occur.
On the box itself, the only thing we noticed was that the there is an event id 7 from Kerebos reporting a PAC verification from the client SolarWindsAdminSVC.
The messages will go on for a few days and then suddenly stop only to start again a couple weeks later.
Anyone have any ideas as to what would be causing the up and down messages continuously?
