How can we monitor large log file in ubuntu linux. We have try to monitor the "DBprocess is dead or not enabled" error in freetds.log files using the perl log parser but it will return an "out of memory error". Is there other way we can monitor the MSSQL connection aside from using log parser . We are using FreeTDS driver to connect our ubuntu boxes to MSSQL.
