Hi all,
i just installed the most recent version of SAM as well as the hot fix on a newly built Windows 2012 R2 STD server. i am trying to manually add my first node...a windows 2012 R2 STD server using WMI. After i enter the server name and credentials (the account tested ok). i click next where it gets to "choose resources", at this point it just clocks and never gets past this point. i let it run for 2 hours and it never came back with any results.
i tried by name and IP
i confirmed DNS is working properly
i confirmed i can ping the remote server by name and server
i confirmed local server firewalls are off
i confirmed AV is not blocking
i confirmed both the SWinds server and windows servers are in the same VLAN so there are no network firewall policies blocking traffic
i confirmed with Windows Management instrumentation tester that WMI is also working to the remote server.
please help
