SolarWinds Agent needing a Reboot

I am on SAM 6.2.3. I had a network event where we lost connection across the board. Once everything was fixed and the customers are back up and using the servers again I have 20+ servers that indicate the servers are down. I can ping them. The users are all working fine. Its just the SAM Agent is not communicating correctly.  If I change the polling from Agent to WMI the server status changes to up. So the Agent service seems to be the only issue.

 

I've checked for posts on SAM agents needing a reboot and the issue there. I have seen the Database update for AgentStatus = 5. No help there. It's been hours so the status should have had plenty of time to update. 

 

The question is If I restart the service on each server manually will that have a chance of fixing the issue? Rebooting all these production servers is not an option, at least not in a timely fashion. Hopefully there is a script that will stop and restart the service.
