I have a group of Windows 2012 R2 file-servers that have intermittent problems with slow file and folder access. This is shown to the end users by a ~3 second delay in moving between folders from a Windows 7 client. Following a reboot; everything returns to normal.
Is there a way of monitoring file and folder access and browsing latency to see if I can detect slow access to files and folders?
We already have in place a range for monitors for 'Open files, CPU, RAM, Server sessions and many more' but I want to specifically monitor how the file shares are responding to browse requests from a remote client or server.
Thanks in advance,
