Custom asset usage in component monitors

I have custom assets defined and i need to use them in component monitoring. Is it possible to use custom assets for component monitoring? I keep getting unable to parse error.

I have two custom properties AppDomain and CustomerBaseContext

When i use the URL giving the variables like below i am getting unable to parse error. Any suggestions?

https://${APM:ApplicationCustomProperties.AppDomain}/${APM:ApplicationCustomProperties.CustomerBaseContext}

so i need the URL like https://google.com/test  (Just an example )
