Edit Components for AppInsight Monitors

Can you edit (or view) the Powershell scripts that make up the bulk of the AppInsight for IIS/SQL/Exhchange components? We are using the AppInsight monitors but run into many occasions where we would like to modify a single component of the application monitor but are unable to. The only option is to disable the component entirely.

Let me give you a specific example using the AppInsight for Exchange monitor. It uses a Custom Powershell Monitor called "Replication Status". Is always RED because we use Symantec Enterprise Vault which uses a database that can't be replicated. So it fails the Database Availability and Database Redundancy check. This specific monitor must be looking at ALL databases on the system as it only reports this error with only this database. The powershell script cannot be modified only the component can be disabled which disables monitoring of the Exchange database. We don't want to lose this functionality. We would like to exclude this specific database from the replication check. And I can't even view the powershell script being used to copy it into my own new template with modifications. Why is that? Are powershell scripts intellectual property? So where does that leave us? The AppInsight monitors are great but they are made so rigid they are only useful in vanilla environments.
