We are replicating DFS-R between a new file server (2012R2) and an existing file server (2012). On the new file server, I was able to get DFSR monitoring setup no problem. However, on the existing file server, I get no instances of DFS Replicated Folders. On the new server, I run "wmic path win32_perfformatteddata_dfsr_dfsreplicatedfolders get /format:textvaluelist" and get back a list of replicated folders and connections. On the existing server, I get "No Instance(s) Available."
I've tried reloading/resetting performance counters to no avail. I suspect it's because we deleted a disabled replica partnership prior to creating 3 new replica partnerships of targeted folders. Has anyone else had this problem?
