I am not an expert in SolarWinds so I posted my question here. One of the SQL DBA's asked if he could copy (so he could edit the copy) the AppInsight for SQL Template. He tried but the copy option was not active, I tried to copy it but again the copy option was not active.
At this point in time this template is in use but full of RED and needs to be worked on and cleaned up so that everything will be in the green. Is there a way to copy this template and give it to the DBA and let him do what he wants to with it? If not, is there a less invasive, less detailed SQL Template to download from THWACK that might help this DBA out? I have never downloaded a template before and put it in my SolarWinds environment so this would be the very first time if that is the best answer.
