Working with NPM 10.6/SAM 6.0. Polling a Dell server via VMWare VCenter for Hardware Health. We received an alert on a disc that is off putting it into a critical state, but the disc is no longer part of the host. Logging into VCenter shows that the disc has been removed, however Orion still thinks the disc is there and triggering an alert for it. I've looked at deleting it from the APM_HardwareItem table, but I don't know if it would just show back up. Does Orion show removed discs as off/critical by design similar to how Thin APs in NPM show down when they are initially not seen when polling the WLC? Is there a way other than a direct SQL query to have Orion remove this disc?
