I created a simple SAM Template Called BMC Remedy.
I added one application monitor to the template that checks an .exe service running with snmp.
I test the application monitor with one of the servers I want to monitor and it come back green all success.
I have the template applied to two servers and enabled.
For some reason the application monitor and hence the application template its self both show as grey unknown.
When I view the application monitor it says:

Why would the status never change from unknown?
It seems like since the application monitor tests OK good green when checked in the edit application monitor that it should update the status after the first poll and start recording historical data?
Has anyone seen this before?
The only thing I can guess is that the application monitor needs more or additional credentials in addition to the snmp the actual monitor uses???? Does it have to have WMI credentials even though the monitor uses snmp?
