How would you create this report with SolarWinds?

A PM just now asked for this report which I figure will take me about an hour to setup with SCOM.

How would you create this with SolarWinds? I'm not trying to invoke SCOM -VS- SW debate, I am genuinley curIous how to go about making this with SW. Because with SCOM I can do this really quickly and easily. And someday a SolarWinds based client may need the same and I'd like to really understand how to set this up with SW.

Actual email request from my PM:

Based on our knowledge of XXX (now called XXX), we should be concerned about the possibility of performance degradation when those 330 center sites come online and start processing orders.

Please put the following monitors in place and report our results on a daily basis:

SQL 2012 instance on the cluster, PRDSQL1:

We want to show a history during Early Adopter warm-up period leading up to full cut-over and keep a close eye on it when the full list of centers starts hitting it.  Our concern is with the XXDB. Based on previous experience it does not scale well and can falter under heavy loads.

Please create a 24-hour snapshot report on:

  • SQL CPU
  • SQL memory

IIS:

Running on these WFEs:

Please create a 24-hour snapshot on:

  • IIS CPU
  • IIS memory
  • IIS – number of connections

I think we want to build a profile of the load on these boxes leading up to April 11th and be ready to report on what is happening after the full cut-over.
