I am trying to configure a Windows Event Log Monitor in SAM for Event ID 3041 from MSSQLSERVER in Applications. This occurs on our SQL server when a database transaction log backup fails. We had this monitor setup on our old Microsoft SCOM server where an email would be sent out with the database name that failed. We then went into SCOM web console via a link in the email to manually close the alert when the database was manually backed up. Is it possible to set up an alert in Orion SAM like I had in SCOM?
