This hotfix addresses and corrects a problem with the following:
- Issue with alerts not containing details about processes from monitored nodes:
- High CPU Utilization with Top 10 Processes
- High Physical Memory Utilization with Top 10 Processes
- High Virtual Memory Utilization with Top 10 Processes
- Issue with SSL Expiration Date probe datetime parsing.

To install this hotfix:

1. If not updated already, upgrade the main poller and all additional pollers to version 6.2
2. On the main poller, install this hotfix by running the attached SAM-v6.2-HotFix1.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
a. Complete the Configuration Wizard.
3. On each additional poller, install this hotfix by running the attached SAM-v6.2-HotFix1.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
a. Complete the Configuration Wizard.
This hotfix modifies the following file on the SAM server:

Only apply the following if you have upgraded from SAM 6.2RC1 to SAM v6.2 RTM, RC2 did not have this issue:
The following instructions will manually fix the following alerts if you upgraded from SAM v6.2 RC1:
- High CPU Utilization with Top 10 Processes
- High Physical Memory Utilization with Top 10 Processes
- High Virtual Memory Utilization with Top 10 Processes
After installing Hotfix 1 in SAM v6.2 RTM, take the following steps:
1. Open the web console and navigate to Settings > Manage Alerts.
2. Locate the alerts in question and edit each of them accordingly.
Note: If you are asked to create a copy, disable the original alert before creating it to avoid duplicate notifications
a. In TRIGGER ACTIONS, edit the first action called Execute program : APM\SolarWinds.APM.RealTimeProcessPoller.exe -n${NodeId}... (the parameters may vary).
b. In the Configure Actions dialog box, modify the Network path to external program field and replace "-alert=${AlertDefID}" with "-alertid=${N=Alerting;M=AlertID}".
c. Save the changes and do the same for all other affected alerts.
