Hello Everyone,
We have three SQL 2012 and two SQL 2014 servers installed in our environment. We are using the Appinsight template to monitor these SQL servers.
My question/discussion point:
What are you folks using for baseline numbers for:
Page Writes/sec
Page Split/sec
Average Disk sec/Write
Average Disk sec/Read
My thresholds are set using their baselines - however - a week later the monitoring is in the red as the latency has grown. I would like to know if I have an issue with my SAN/VMWARE communication or are the thresholds too low.
