solarwinds.dataprocessor.exe very high disk i/o(Read)

Hi,

We have Solarwinds NPM and SAM; I'm guessing it might be some sort of configuration issue, but I'm running into a problem with the SWdataprocessor.exe then SWJobEngineWorker and SWJobEngineWorker2.exe pushing my Read IOP's up to 2000 a sec every 5 minutes, and staying that high for about 3 minutes.   I've inherited looking after this so I'm quite new to troubleshooting it and I've not done a procmon on the box yet, but does this sound familiar to anyone?

It's a VM which was running on SATA but is now on SAS, and the performance remains the same.  Perf mon tells me that there's a lot of split I/O going on, but the disk is not fragmented.

Any ideas?

I've also stopped All services such as Trap, Netflow and syslog, and it still does it.

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place!  First time here.

Cheers,

Neil.
