We upgraded to SAM 5.0 and many of the Active Directory APMs (LDAP monitors, memory available, etc) all of a sudden gave the HResult: The specified object is not found on the system. I found one post where the user stated that he reset the Remote Registry service on the affected machines (not the SAM host) and it fixed the problem
I gave it a try and resetting the remote registry on the affected machines caused all the APMs to go green again.
Why or how did resetting the remote registry fix this ???
