A simple question on Application Monitors

Hi,

Can anyone please help me to confirm whether an Application Monitor would be alerted as DOWN when the node it is mounted on, is down BUT the assigned Application Monitor( like HTTP monitor) is not directly dependent on the current node?

I have set of URLs which needs to be monitored and I have assigned an Application monitor of HTTP component type to a node which does not have any direct impact to the URLs when the node itself goes down. So, in this case, would the HTTP Monitor be alerted as DOWN when the node goes down?

Please let me know your thoughts on it.
