IISRESET based on CPU load

Hi there,

we have a bug in a web application that means if the CPU of a server goes over 80%, the application will hang. Whilst we speak with the developers about this - we currently just have an alert emailed to our helpdesk when the CPU hits 70% - and they manually do an iisrest on the server.

Is there a way with SAM and WMI that i can script solarwinds to run an iisreset when CPU hits 70% then send an email telling me it has done it?

Pretty sure it would be a powershell script, but you need to run admin cmd to do a reset.

Any help would be great, i'm just about to look into it, so will post if i get anywhere!

Cheers
