AIX monitoring (memory, cpu, and processes)

I know this topic has been covered before but I am really looking for some advise and information. We are running NPM version 10.7 and SAM version 6.1.0. We have a handful of AIX monitored via SNMP version 2c. Generally speaking I am happy with the data being collected. For example the disk volumes appear accurate and I am seeing data for CPU and memory. However the AIX server guys are telling me the data is inaccurate.

We are running AIX version 06.01.xxxx.xxxx

The response that I am getting from them is: the CPU reporting is inaccurate and that the memory being pulled from Solarwinds is just the high water mark of RAM usage, not the actual usage. Then if I do an SNMP query of the AIX server for processes running I do pull back some processes, however I feel I am not seeing everything that I should be. I am just getting back this type of information:

bos.rte.lvm 6.1.5.0 Logical Volume Manager

bos.rte.SRC 6.1.5.0 System Resource Controller

etc

Thank you for any help you can give,

Zach
